At Monument Cemetary Chapel in Edgewater Park! This is a free event!

Love spooky stories that send chills down your spine? Halloween is the perfect season for the introduction of CRYPT GNATS: Horror You’ve Been Itching to Read, a new release from Jersey Pines Ink, edited by Dina Leacock, of Medford. She will sign copies of this anthology of 29 stories of interment horror along with several authors in this anthology.
Love movie musicals? Anytime is the perfect time for singing and dancing and news of the upcoming book by local author, Richard Barrios, WEST SIDE STORY: The Jets, the Sharks, and the Creation of a Classic, to be released by Turner Classic Movies. Barrios, a Beverly resident, will discuss this upcoming book, and will also sign copies of two of his previous books, DANGEROUS RHYTHM and MUST-SEE MUSICALS.
Beverly Haaf, a Beverly resident, will discuss the upcoming re-release of her book, THE CHANTING, a novel of supernatural suspense. Haaf, of Jersey Pine’s Ink, will also discuss the JUMPROPE CHRONICLES by Ivy C. Leigh, novels of mystery and romance happening in the fictional community of JumpRope, New Jersey. Signed copies of the first book of the series, DEATH BEHIND THE LILACS, will be available, plus news of the upcoming release, DEATH COUNTS THE GOLDEN COINS.
Sponsored by the Beverly Free Library, serving Beverly and Edgewater Park, the Monument Cemetery’s Board of Trustees is hosting this event at Monument Cemetery’s lovingly restored 1920’s chapel in Edgewater Park. Also participating is the Philadelphia Writer’s Conference.
Light seasonal refreshments will be offered and there will be entertaining prizes. Costumes are not frowned upon, but this is not a children’s event.
