Financial Literacy - Become An Informed Investor and Avoid Financial Fraud
This presentation is designed to provide real world education regarding financial literacy.  The goal is to provide the foundations necessary for working toward becoming an informed investor.
 
Specifically, the presentation focuses on
  • Defining commonly used financial terms such as types of financial accounts
  • Fraudulent investing practices by financial "predators" and scams
  • How to be smart in investing in stocks, real estate market, and school loans
This presentation is conducted by the Investor Advocacy Project (IAP) of Seton Hall University School of Law.  The IAP program is the result of the collaborative work of law students and professors of Seton Hall University School of Law and was made possible through an origination grant by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).  
 
This program is offered on March 3, 2 pm and 7 pm.
